• Center for Simulator and Maritime Training (CSMART)

    In May 2015 Transas and the Center for Simulator and Maritime Training (CSMART) -- the world-class training facility for Carnival Corporation & plc, the world's largest travel and leisure company with nine global brands and a fleet of 101 cruise ships -- signed a multi-million euro contract to utilize Transas' state-of-the-art simulators at CSMART's new facility, scheduled to open in summer 2016 in Almere, just outside Amsterdam.

  • Transas VTMIS for Gulf of Finland

    Transas VTMIS for the Gulf of Finland is one of the most significant projects if VTMS implementation. Under the contract Transas delivered and installed a total of 17 radar sites on islands and at shore locations of the Gulf. The vessel traffic information received from the radars is transmitted using radio relay communication lines and processed in a fleet monitoring center of Saint-Petersburg.

  • Transas Navi-Sailor 3000 Onboard German Navy

    The navigational suite for almost 100 ships will consist of Transas Navi-Sailor 3000 ECDIS, (U)AIS-Transponders of Saab Transpondertech AB and navigational ARPA Radars, supplied by Sperry Marine BV.

  • Vessel Traffic Management and Information System of the Republic of Malta

    VTMIS system for Malta provides a service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and significantly enhances the surveillance and monitoring capabilities available to Malta Maritime Authority (MMA) and the Armed Forces of Malta (AFM).The system, which includes radars and optronics, has proven capable of tracking small targets and has been instrumental in a number of operations which have led to the interception o craft carrying illegal migrants or engaged in the smuggling of controlled substances and contraband items.

  • National Vessel Traffic Management and Information System (VTMIS) for the Republic of Cyprus

    National Vessel Traffic Management and Information System (VTMIS) for the Republic of Cyprus is one the most advanced and state-of-the-art National Surveillance Systems in Mediterranean region. It includes 4 high performance coastal surveillance shore-based radars, an AIS subsystem consisting of 7 Transas T214 AIS Base Stations in hot standby configuration, 2 Radio Directions Finders and a Distributed Communications subsystem with 9 VHF Base Stations. Remote Terminals have been commissioned to the Limassol and Larnaka Marine Police, the Joint Rescue and Coordination Centre and the Coastal Radar System Control Centre. A Marine Pollution Control Station has been installed at DMS Headquarters which provides training and operations planning tools in handling oil spill or other environment danger cases.

  • Full Mission VTS Simulator for Korean Coast Guard

    A full mission VTS simulator and an oil spill combat lab can operate in the common environment with the full mission bridge simulator.

  • Dual ECDIS System Navi-Sailor 4000 to Newbuilds for herning shipping A.S, Denmark

    The major Danish ship owner, herning shipping a. s., equips their series of newbuilds with Transas Dual ECDIS system, Navi-Sailor 4000-23” with installed RIB boards. The contract also includes the supply of Transas ENC chart cells, giving the vessels an opportunity to operate ‘paperless’.

  • 139 ECDIS Systems to the Indian Navy

    Transas supplies 139 ECDIS systems to the Indian Navy fleet. The contract was signed in 2006 with the Republic of India Ministry of Defence acting as the final customer.

  • Rørvik Safety Center – EcoShip Simulator

    Transas has developed and delivered a new simulator for monitoring fuel consumption and emissions. The customer, Rörvik Safety Center (Norway) has designed a training concept called EcoShip which is supposed to change the mindset of officers and open their eyes to that part of the problem that they can do something about.
